A new family paving the way to a better future
Panton Hara is a non-profit organisation operating in Cyprus in the field of child and adolescent mental health and social care. It implements programs of the Social Welfare Services, subsidized by the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare, in collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Limassol.
It consists of a multidisciplinary team of mental health and social science professionals and provides specialized services to adolescents living in Child Protection Homes who are facing serious psychosocial difficulties as well as maladjusted or delinquent behavior.
Through the Day Center, scientific supervision, professional training, and semi-independent living programs with increased care, Panton Hara creates stable frameworks of safety, support, and meaningful development for children and adolescents.
Our Purpose
To provide a safe and supportive environment for adolescents with adjustment difficulties and challenges in their lives. Panton Hara aims to become a new family that paves the way to a better future.
The main goal is to help adolescents with difficult pasts and histories to recover and functionally integrate into the community, promoting the development of skills and values such as self-awareness, self-confidence, humility, teamwork, and acceptance of diversity, forming positive relationships in their environment.
Teen Day Center
Intensive afternoon program with group therapy, occupational therapy, activities, and personalized support for adolescents aged 13-17.
Family Department
Family-centered interventions based on the MST model, with family therapy, home-based sessions, and support for family reunification.
Semi-Independent Living
Transitional housing program for teens 14+ with 24-hour care and life skills training to get them ready for independent living.
